Founder of Scent by SIX
Scent by SIX was founded in 2014. Prior to that, I used to work in Givaudan, the world's #1 fragrance and flavor house, which supplies fragrances to brands like Tom Ford, Jo Malone, Unilever etc. Besides having a retail lineup of body perfumes, home diffusers, we are equally focused on our B2B offerings. We customise ambient fragrances for major hotels, malls and companies, based on their unique brand stories.
What drove you to kickstart on your business?
To leave a non-monetary legacy. Whatever that is created in the lifespan of your business, stays with you forever, no one can take that away. Working for an MNC, whatever you have achieved/created stays with that company.
Are there any new or upcoming products we can anticipate?
There is a new scent we have launched to spur Singaporeans on amidst this Covid 19 pandemic. There is enough negativity going around, and I just wanted to do my part to encourage everyone, with an aroma that points in the direction of hope, healing and grace.
What are some of the main challenges you face in your project?
Due to the circuit breaker, it is not easy for Singaporeans to sample the new scent. However, we will explore safe delivery options.

We do not sell products or services, we sell compelling stories, inspirations and experiences.
What motivates you to keep doing what you do?
My family, my team, my clients and customers. It is simple, I just want to make life better for them.
